Could the filming of Star Wars: Episode VII be delayed because of Harrison Ford’s broken leg? That’s the rumor currently buzzing around movie news circles.
The Daily Mail UK reported that the 71-year-old Ford suffered the injury when a door believed to be from the Millennium Falcon fell on his leg. The above photo is reportedly of Ford leaving a London hospital. What was initially thought to be a sprained or broken ankle turned out to be a broken leg, something that could require a recovery and rehab of at least two months.
With pressure to make a December 18, 2015 release date, however, producers are working to reschedule shoots to accommodate Ford’s injury and avoid significant delays.
