Kid dives into Oval Office couch while parents meet President Obama

We’ve all been that age when we just want the adults to stop talking so we can go. Can we go right now? Aaah! Or we’re currently dealing with kids who are sooo bored and just want to go play somewhere or do something — anything — else.

Evidently, not even visiting the Oval Office and meeting President Obama is exciting enough for one kid whose dad was leaving the Secret Service. The departing agent, his wife and son met with the president in the Oval Office, and one memorable moment was captured by the White House’s official photographer, as you can see here.

So was it that the kid was totes bored with all the grown-ups talking and blah blah blah — can we go? Did that sofa in the Oval Office look just too soft and plush, inviting the kid to go face-first into it? Was he throwing a fit? Did the agent let instinct take over and plant his son into the couch so he wouldn’t attack the president?

Or maybe this kid was seizing the moment? How often will anyone get a chance to dive onto a couch in the Oval Office? And you have to do it at an age when it will be excused by your youth. If that’s the case, well done, Couch Kid. Well done.
