One of the most anticipated movies of the fall is Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar. With a release date of Nov. 7, there’s not much time before this movie hits theaters. Thus, the latest trailer now available is the last one we’ll see before the film opens.
As the trailer indicates, Interstellar deals with space travel (and wormholes) and the quest to find another inhabitable world, as Earth’s population is quickly running out of the natural resources it needs to survive. You know you’ve always wanted to see Matthew McConaughey in space. This is your chance. And you get to see him on planets made entirely of ice and water, so that’s a bonus.
Anne Hathaway and Jessica Chastain co-star in the film, along with Michael Caine, who’s been in every one of Nolan’s movies since Batman Begins.
If you just can’t wait until Nov. 7, Interstellar will be released in IMAX theaters two days earlier, according to Deadline. That might be the best way to watch what appears to be some spectacular visuals, judging from the trailer.
