The superheroic Super Bowl wager between Chris Pratt and Chris Evans has now been settled. Though Evans’ New England Patriots defeated Pratt’s Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX, both actors agreed to fulfill the terms of the bet. There were no losers here.
In early February, Pratt visited Christopher’s Haven in Boston dressed as Star-Lord, while Evans would appear at Seattle Children’s Hospital in full Captain America garb. This past weekend (March 7), Evans made good on his end of the wager.

As you can see, Evans didn’t just appear in a mocked-up version of his character’s costume. That was the Captain America suit. I wonder how long it took him to suit up, compared to how he might do it on set. Or maybe after making three (soon to be four) movies with Cap, the process has become easier.
Regardless, getting to meet the guys who play superheroes on screen was surely a huge thrill for those kids and a really cool thing that Evans and Pratt did with their Marvel characters.
You can see more photos of Evans’ visit on Facebook at the Seattle Children’s Hospital Facebook page and at Pratt’s page.
