Sharknadoes have always hit in late July. Now we know when the third one will strike. Syfy announced on Wednesday that Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! (yep, that’s the official title) will premiere on the network July 22. Additionally, the movie will play in 86 countries within 24 hours of its U.S. debut.
Hopefully, a trailer is soon to follow, so we can post something besides this short teaser.
Joining stars Ian Ziering and Tara Reid in the sequel’s cast are David Hasselhoff, Bo Derek, Mark Cuban, Ann Coulter, Chris Kirkpatrick, Chris Jericho and Jerry Springer.
@Bloguin @iancass How are people still reporting on this movie and not even mentioning the huge crew strike? #strikenado

It should also be mentioned — and we didn’t do so in our last Sharknado-related post — that the film’s production crew has been on strike since March 3, protesting the use of non-union labor on the Los Angeles and Washington D.C. sets. Workers on the film want a union contract before returning to the production. That may have something to do with the frequent release of casting announcements, and now this latest news regarding the title and release date.
