It’s also been confirmed that Jay Garrick, DC Comics’ original Flash from the 1940s, will be appearing in season two of The Flash and will be played by Teddy Sears (Masters of Sex). The iconic helmet of the Earth 1 version of the character was teased at the end of last season.

According to producers, Garrick is “a mysterious figure” who visits Central City to warn Barry Allen and the S.T.A.R. Labs team of “an impending danger.”
