This week’s Twitter bitch slap: Khloe Kardashian vs. Amy Schumer

During her monologue hosting Saturday Night Live this past weekend, Amy Schumer took a dig or two at the Kardashians.

People.com gave us the rundown — because they have a minimum number of Kardashian posts to hit per day, which I am pretty sure hovers around 25. Look at Kylie in her sports bra, isn’t she fun? NO, People, SHUT UP.

During her opening monologue on Saturday, Schumer said the world needs more role models for little girls because “who do they have? All they have, literally, is the Kardashians.”

“Is that a great message for little girls? A whole family of women who take the faces they were born with as like, a light suggestion?” Schumer said.

“We used to have Khloé. Khloé was ours, right?” Schumer continued. “Whenever there’s a group of women, you identify with one of them, right? … But Khloé – she lost half her body weight.”

Schumer went on to joke that Kardashian “lost a Kendall” of body weight, in reference to Kardashian’s younger sister, 19-year-old supermodel Kendall Jenner.

Well, Khloe did not appreciate this, and took to Twitter to issue a cryptic bitch slap:

I mean, this is obviously about Schumer but come on, Khloe, you made your bed, now lie in it. This family is a bunch of fame whores who make a gazillion dollars for embracing their famewhoredom. Don’t piggy back off your sister’s sex tape and then act all offended when someone accuses you of selling out, essentially. It’s baffling to me that the Kardashian family could be considered role models to begin with, but it’s even worse when they try to defend themselves when people call out the fact that they may be sending less than positive messages to young women, deliberate or not.

I will always be Team Schumer because that is a no-brainer, but while she was making a joke, what she said was factual. They’ve all had work done and LOTS of it, and Khloe has lost a ton of weight. But before she lost it, we were like, well at least ONE of them looks normal, and now they are all the same.

Well, Schumer responded to Khloe’s tweet because she had to, but did it in a less vague way:

It’s crazy that this is even news. As I sit here and write about this, I’m like, why am I writing about this?

I will say this in Khloe’s defense: The girl cannot win. Before she lost weight, everyone called her fat. Now she is getting made fun of for losing TOO much weight. It just goes to show that no matter what you do, someone will be there to tell you that you did it incorrectly. Which is sad. I guess there is no real winner in this Twitter war (but it’s not really a war, since they didn’t even address each other by name).
