What’s coming & going on Netflix in February 2017

We’re hitting one of the most boring sports times of the year, with football officially over after the Super Bowl, MLB still two months from starting up, the NBA and NHL playoffs still two months away, golf and tennis majors multiple months away, March Madness (obviously) still a month away, etc.

Well, good news for those of you sports junkies looking for other ways to be entertained (and also good news for those of you that just like Netflix)- February is a loaded month of additions for Netflix!

Many blockbuster films are coming to Netflix this month, including two *very* different 2016 animation films in Disney’s Finding Dory (arriving today) and the R-rated Sausage Party.

There are also several intriguing Netflix Originals on the way, headlined by the zombie comedy Santa Clarita Diet (starring Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant).

We’ll also get the critically acclaimed 10-episode FX series The People vs O.J. Simpson on Feb. 2.

Unfortunately, we’ll also lose some notable titles this month, including Clerks and There Will Be Blood.

Here’s a full look at what’s coming to Netflix in February (I’ve put some notable titles in bold to try to help you out, but keep in mind there may be some selections you find more important than I do):

Daniel Sosa: Sosafado (Netflix Original)
Imperial Dreams (Netflix Original)

This looks like it could be one hell of a performance from John Boyega (The Force Awakens).

Santa Clarita Diet (Netflix Original)

A zombie comedy featuring these high-profile actors is obviously getting plenty of buzz. It’s hard to really conclude much from the trailer, other than it looks like the series going to be pretty damn weird (and by design, of course).
