AMC gives ‘Better Call Saul’ a two-night premiere

AMC has been stingy with details for its Breaking Bad spinoff, Better Call Saul. The network did announce that the show had been renewed for a second season roughly eight months before the first episode even airs. And a 10-second teaser featuring star Bob Odenkirk as the title character was released shortly thereafter.

Other than that, all we knew about Better Call Saul, other than it follows the lawyer employed by Walter White, was that it would premiere in February. But now we have an exact date, as shown in this trailer.

AMC announced on Thursday that the show would debut on Sunday, Feb. 8 at 10 p.m. ET. The second episode will air the next night, Feb. 9, in the same time slot. From there on out, Better Call Saul will be on Monday nights at 10 p.m. The first season will consist of 10 episodes.
