Monday afternoon, Vanity Fair magazine released an image of its July 2015 cover, featuring Caitlyn Jenner (formerly known as Bruce). Here is the cover photo by Annie Leibovitz.
The cover story is written by Buzz Bissinger (Friday Night Lights), who was given “unfettered access” to Jenner, according to Vanity Fair, detailing “the tensions, trauma and courage” that brought her to this point.
“If I was lying on my deathbed and I had kept this secret and never ever did anything about it,” Jenner (who is also now on Twitter) tells Bissinger, “I would be lying there saying, ‘You just blew your entire life.'”
The magazine also released a behind-the-scenes video of the feature’s photo shoot with Leibovitz.
The July 2015 issue of Vanity Fair hits newsstands on June 9. Digital subscribers to the magazine will get access to the article on June 1.
