Star Wars: Episode VII director J.J. Abrams has been mischievous with his reveals of anything from the set or any hints as to the movie’s story.
When rumors and photos of the Millennium Falcon were circulating around the internet, Abrams released a photo with a note saying he wished people would stop making such claims. But his picture included the chess table seen in the original Star Wars film (Episode IV: A New Hope).
Two months later, when Abrams updated fans on the status of the “Force for Change” campaign with Unicef, the director was standing in front of an X-Wing Fighter that will be seen in the film. With the donation drive now complete and “Force for Change” raising over $5 million, Abrams tweeted out a thank you note for fans.

But what’s that in the lower left-hand corner, holding the note? That’s a robotic hand, probably belonging to one of the new droids from Episode VII. Or could it be the severed bionic hand of Luke Skywalker, rumored to trigger the new film’s story, as reported by Badass Digest’s Devin Faraci? That would be sneaky.
