We may be skewing to a small audience with this one, but if you’re a fan of Paul Westerberg, The Replacements or Juliana Hatfield, here’s some news that may excite you. Hatfield and Westerberg are collaborating on a new project, which should delight fans of 1990s indie rock.

We are the I Don’t Cares –our first album is coming soon…

The band is called the I Don’t Cares and their new album, titled Wild Stab, is “coming soon.” In the meantime, a single from that album was posted online to Spotify. Give a listen to “1/22 P.”

Personally, I think this could be a big hit with my little niece as one verse recites the ABCs. Two different generations digging Paul Westerberg and Juliana Hatfield? Those guys know what they’re doing. Oh, wait — this isn’t going to be a kids album, is it? Nah, couldn’t be.
