Report: Netflix close to reviving ‘Full House’ for 13 episodes

That TV revival wheel keeps on turning. Showtime is bringing back Twin Peaks. Fox is reopening The X-Files. NBC is putting Coach back in the game. Now, it appears we’ll be getting a whole new batch of Full House.

According to TV Line’s Michael Ausiello, Netflix — which continues to ramp up its original programming — is close to ordering a 13-episode run of Fuller House, which will essentially be a continuation of the original series. Neither the network nor Warner Brothers confirmed the news, so this might not be a done deal yet.

Those excited about getting the band back together again may have to pump the brakes a bit too. Ausiello reports that the show will focus on Candace Cameron Bure’s character, D.J., and her best friend Kimmy (Andrea Barber). We probably should have used a different photo for this post.

What about Bob Saget, Dave Coulier and John Stamos? Those three are expected to make guest appearances, though Stamos reportedly has a producer role with the show. He may still be hanging around outside the Full House house, waiting for people to recognize him.

Boy, these youngsters have 0.0 idea what they’re missing. #Fullhousehouse. #TURNAROUND.

No word on where the Olsen twins are with this. Perhaps their agents are working the phones as we speak.
