After tantalizing us with 10-second teasers and bits of news such as the show’s premiere date, AMC has finally released a full, extended trailer for its Breaking Bad spinoff, Better Call Saul, beginning with the memorable line above.
The show is a prequel, starring Bob Odenkirk as lawyer Saul Goodman, an alias intended to engender familiarity with those who want “a pipe-hitting member of the tribe.” His real name, as you see in this trailer, is James McGill. According to creator Vince Gilligan, the premise of the show is following a lawyer who will do anything to stay out of court.
Better Call Saul, which has already been renewed for a second season, premieres on AMC with shows on Sunday, Feb. 8 and Monday, Feb. 9 at 10 p.m. ET. Don’t forget to stop by the show’s official website.
