Going back to the past has become a popular trend among movie franchises. Batman, James Bond and Star Trek have all looked to their origins to tell us the stories that haven’t been told in recent years. Now it’s Dracula’s turn.
Dracula Untold shows us how Vlad Tepes (played by Luke Evans) essentially makes a deal with the devil to save his family and people from a marauding sultan (Dominic Cooper). That turns him from a seemingly heroic figure into the monstrous vampire we all know and love.

If you like Game of Thrones, 300, Lord of the Rings and, well, vampires, you should love Dracula Untold. The movie is scheduled to hit theaters on October 17.
