Watch: Trevor Noah takes his seat in new ‘Daily Show’ teaser

We are approximately six weeks away from Trevor Noah’s debut as the new host of The Daily Show. And while the program’s former star, Jon Stewart, prepares to host WWE’s SummerSlam this coming Sunday (Aug. 23), his successor is making sure he’s comfortable in that anchor chair and making sure it’s the right height behind that news desk.

Check out Noah making his way to the set with Kanye West’s “Power” essentially acting as his walk-up music in this teaser released by Comedy Central.

Not a bad introduction, six weeks out. We get a hint of the new set and new logo design for the show. (What we really want to know is whether or not that was really Noah’s butt or if a butt double was used for that shot. Either way, it’s a bold way for Noah to set himself apart from Stewart.)

Hopefully, Noah and Comedy Central provide a few more teasers, perhaps with some quip and commentary on current events, between now and his first show to give us a taste of what to expect from him on The Daily Show.

The Daily Show with Trevor Noah debuts on Comedy Central Sept. 28.
