Ripping on season two of True Detective has become popular sport in pop culture. (Though there’s still hope the series will redeem itself in its final episodes.)
But what do the original TD duo of Marty Hart and Rust Cohle think of Nic Pizzolatto’s sophomore TV effort? Or maybe more specifically, what does Hart think of Vince Vaughn’s performance as gangster Frank Semyon? Well, we may now have an idea, thanks to the following video.
So can we assume that Colin Farrell’s Ray Velcoro and Rachel McAdams’ Ani Bezzerides are generally off the hook, in Marty Hart’s eyes? Maybe we should check back with them in a week or two. Rust Cohle may have had enough of the whole thing, presuming that he’s dissected recordings of each episode repeatedly.
