Beacon Theatre Charity Comedy Show Nearing $450 Secondary Market Ticket Average

It’s always fun to have a night filled with laughter by some of the most well known comedians; it’s an even added benefit when it’s for a good cause.

That’s the case this week when Jerry Seinfeld and Amy Schumer hosts Baby Buggy’s 15th anniversary celebration, an event created by Jerry’s wife, Jessica. Baby Buggy is an NYC-based charitable foundation helping families in need throughout different parts of the city that, “takes an innovative child-focused approach to curbing generational poverty by linking access to critical child gear items to parental participation in programs designed to lift the family out of poverty” according to BabyBuggy.org.

The Beacon Theatre is one of the well-recognized venues in New York City and this show will be one of the premier events prior to the Thanksgiving holiday. Attending this event won’t come cheaper however, as secondary market tickets to the Baby Buggy’s 15th Anniversary Celebration have an average ticket price of $440 with a get-in price of $221 according to secondary market ticket aggregator TiqIQ.com.

The event, on November 16th, had been on the decline before kicking back up a bit. On October 24th, the average ticket price was nearly $1,500 (1,403.85) before falling to $843.30 on November 10th. The average ticket price took another sharp decline and reached $283.68 on November 14th before a recent uptick to the $440 average ticket price currently being registered.

The event is a one-of-a-kind get together of talent, so it is not a surprise that fans travel from all over the country to attend. Hipmunk’s New York City hotel guide allows out-of-town travelers to view and find the most convenient available option.

According to an article about the event from Forbes, the evening’s co-chairs are: Jessica and Jerry Seinfeld, Lil and Doug Band, Jennifer Koen, Mark Horowitz, Julianne Moore, Gwyneth Paltrow, Sarah Jessica Parker, Ali Wentworth, George Stephanopoulos, Olivia Wilde, Jason Sudeikis, Connie Verducci and Naomi Watts.
